Each Snowflake is Unique

A couple of days of advent we spent studying, reading about, and making our own snowflakes. What miracles! And such an awesome testimony to our Creator God. The thought that we are infinitely more unique and created for such a greater purpose than even these beautiful ice crystals is amazing!

I used a paper doily for the "snowflake" shape on the shirt.
Then we sprayed the shirt with fabric spray paint over the snowflake.

As that dried, I made a screen using the photo emulsion technique.

I applied the emulsion to a handmade screen (organza fabric in a 14'' embroidery hoop), made a transparency of the above image and "burned" the image into the screen by exposing it in the sunlight for a couple of minutes (not a recommended method due to it's inconsistency, but it happened to work this time!)

After the fabric spray paint dried, I silkscreened the "unique" image onto the shirt!! One for each of my very unique daughters!!
